NRD Cyber Security research and development activities

 NRD Cyber Security R&D projects are partly funded from EU regional development fund, according to R&D tool Nr. J05-LVPA-K „Intelect. Buisness and science projects“ and Nr. 01.2.1-LVPA-K-856 "Experiment".

 

 

Our consultants, in cooperation with international institutions and scholar communities in Lithuania and abroad, actively contribute to R&D projects in the field of cybersecurity.                                            Three of such R&D projects are:

IntEye - Open Source Intelligence gathering and analysis system, which will be using several AI modules to continuously learn from the user and provocatively search for the most relevant information online.

The aim is to create a system which is going to process data of various types, complexity and size and improve the speed and quality of decision making process in institutions and organisations. The system will be based on AI and OSINT and will be significant in a way that it is going to learn from the analyst and provocatively search for the most relevant information. 

NRD Cyber Security is implementing project „NRD Cyber Security investments to R&D“ (project Nr. J05-LVPA-K-03-0085), according to 2014-2020 EU investment funds action plan 1st priority Research and Development tool Nr. J05-LVPA-K „Intelect. Buisness and science projects“, which is financed from European regional development fund.

CySystem - solution, which will help monitor cyber space, promptly identify and alert about abnormalities in networks. It will combine multiple network monitoring and analysis as well as automated cyber sensor technology management.

By investing in research and development activities, the project aim is to create three product prototypes, which would be developed to product offering stage and introduced to the market at later stages.

  • CyberSensors – a system of sensor technology, designed for identification and analysis of cybersecurity incidents at national, sectorial or international multi-stakeholder corporation infrastructure.
  • CyberSituation – a system, which collects internet data from CII: website data, network connections and their changes. It will also analyse abnormalities.
  • CySystem – a system, which will combine the functionalities of CyberSensors and CyberSituation, will have integrated detailed overview of public internet data map and the internal abnormalities of CII.

The project is completed by partnering up with Baltijos pažangių technologijų institututas (BPTI). NRD Cyber Security is implementing project „NRD Cyber Security investments to R&D“ (project Nr. J05-LVPA-K-04-0026), according to 2014-2020 EU investment funds action plan 1st priority Research and Development tool Nr. J05-LVPA-K „Intelect. Buisness and science projects“, which is financed from European regional development fund.

CyberSET - is a set of technologies and operational procedures, which enables the integration and automation of typical Security Operations Center (SOC) functions for Managed Security Service Providers (MSSP).

The product will be intended for small IT service providers around the world, that also want to provide cybersecurity management services (MSSP). The main purpose of this product is to help IT companies to start providing  MSSP  services in a short term, by equipping them with a full set of technological and process tools at an affordable price. 

The project is completed by partnering up with Baltijos pažangių technologijų institutas (BPTI). NRD Cyber Security is implementing project "NRD Cyber Security investments to R&D" (project Nr. 01.2.1-LVPA-K-856-01-0081). Project is financed from European regional development fund.
