On the 28th February, 2014, NRD CS is participating in the conference „Technologies and Resilience 2014", organised by BAIP and IBM Lithuania at the "Crowne Plaza" Vilnius and dedicated to CEOs, CFOs, CIOs and other IT specialists.

The conference is split into two main parts: presentations and practical sessions. During the first part of the conference, participants will have a chance to learn about the newest IT trends from Piotr Pietrzak, Chief Technologist in IBM Poland who will deliver a presentation on "How IBM technology responds to the current real world needs. Current and future trends and directions". Furthermore, BAIP business development manager of system integration and consultations department Edvinas Česnauskas will talk about the resilience of complex information systems while Aurimas Matulis from the State Tax Inspectorate under the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Lithuania will highlight the importance and benefits of cloud computing for organisations.

The second part of the conference consists of Cobit 5, Netezza and I2 sessions. Romualdas Lečickis, NRD CS Security consultant, responsible for IT governance, IT audit, IT consulting and security transformation projects, will present COBIT 5 - business framework for the governance and management of enterprise IT - and its practical value to organisations. COBIT 5 is the latest edition of ISACA's globally accepted framework, providing an end-to-end business view of the governance of enterprise IT that reflects the central role of information and technology in creating value for enterprises.

Moreover, IBM Netezza technical specialist Jakub Skuratowicz will deliver training on Netezza - The Simple Data Warehouse Appliance for Serious Analytics - and Jacek Stanczyk, IBM solutions specialist, will present i2 - a tool which provides intelligence analysis, law enforcement and fraud investigation solutions.

Finally, the participants will be given a chance to learn more about various technologies and solutions at the demo zone, where NRD CS will also be present. NRD CS team will present cyber security consulting and intrusion prevention services, security audits, compliance and risk assessments, technologies and solutions for information system security as well as design of early warning systems and modern e-crime and fraud management platforms.
