"East African government institutions and businesses realise the importance of developing cyber security competence. Secure digital environment is vital for encouraging the development of the states, innovation and investment in the region. The most effective way to fight cyber criminals is local capacity building: spreading awareness, good practice exchange, motivation of IT specialists and cooperation on both regional and international levels" - says Mr Sebastian Marondo, CEO at NRD EA.
